Sammed Sikharji is the oldest Jain temple (Derasar) situated on height of approx. 4000 ft. from sea level. It is situated in Jharkhand, on Parasnath Hills. On Sammed sikharji 20 out of 24 Jain tirthankaras attained Moksha, so it is holiest place for Jain Religion. It covers 27 kms area with approx. 12000 steps as well as walking pathways. Sammed Shikharji One can reach there by road from Parasnath Railway station which is nearest railway station from Sikharji approx. 01 hour Whole hill is having very beautiful view. It is having about 31 different tonks of different Tirthankaras. One can go by walk as well as by Doli (02 or 04 person carry Pilgrims on their shoulder). On the way one can pray at different tonks at different heights. At first there is Gautam Swami tonk, which is at approx. half distance from Taleti (Starting point of Hill). After that there is 03 different ways, One is going to Jal Mandir which is main temple for Jain pilgrims, second is going towards Parhva...
